Our Mission

The mission of FC Providence is to ignite a passion for hard work and involvement in the community through the love of soccer.

Our Club

FC Providence is a ‘501(c)(3)’ nonprofit travel soccer club that provides a unique opportunity for dedicated youth soccer players to partner with our organization in the Collegeville, Royersford, Limerick, Boyertown, Methacton, Skippack, and Phoenixville area. We focus all of our attention on the principle of nurturing talent based on fundamentals. Our goal is to remain a small sized club so we can concentrate on each player and develop their individual talent as well as their impact and involvement within a team.

FC Providence is run by a small team of dedicated coaches and parents whose sole focus is to build a program that directly benefits the players. All our coaches are very experienced and qualified and have a track record of successfully developing soccer talent in a nurturing, confidence building manner, that promotes a long term passion for the sport, as well as promoting the benefits of youth sports involvement.

The Club remains committed to maintaining a quality experience for players, parents and coaches and therefore plans to grow.

FC Providence Pythons are the D2 U10 Champions at the 2012 Hockessin Spring Classic Tournament. Defense and offense gelled well to have the Pythons win undefeated against big club names like Penn Legacy, Hockessin and Cecil Co. (MD).  The final game saw the Pythons coming into the second half down by 1.  They showed grit and perseverance against a strong defense by Cecil Galaxy and a goalkeeper almost worthy of the Premier League!  The Pythons never gave up and played their hearts out to come back and take the match and title.  Well done, boys! You deserve it.

FCP Athletico Delco U11 Boys D2 Champions

FC Providence Athletico finished off their highly successful year with victory in the Delco League Finals. In a exciting competitive match against a strong Penn Legacy team, Athletico stuck to their game plan, creating numerous chances throughout the game, and defended very strongly. In a tense second half, Athletico showed great patience and were ultimately rewarded with the only goal of the game. This victory is a substantial achievement for the team and FC Providence. The Delco league is one of the most competitive youth soccer leagues in the country, with teams competing from Eastern and Central PA, New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland. Athletico have now added the Delco D2 Championship to their Eastern PA State D2 Challenge Cup victory and three other big tournament wins in 2011. The team now takes a well earned break until the FC Providence Winter Program starts in early January. Thank you to all the players, parents, coaches, and club sponsors for your support this year. See you on the field in 2012 - Happy Holidays !
